A frequent free shuttle train called CDGVAL travels the length of the airport with several stations along the way at terminals, stations and car parks. It doesn't matter too much then if your hotel is not immediately next to the passenger terminal you are using.

The largest cluster of airport hotels at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) are located just the other side of the motorway/freeway from the airport.
There are numerous hotels to suit all budgets surrounding the old village of Roissy in an attractive spacious parkland setting.
Two separate free shuttle services connect these hotels to the airport passenger terminals. As well as benefiting from lower hotel rates here, guests of the hotels can stroll into the pleasant village where there are small shops and restaurants.

There are other off airport hotels which are nearly all much more isolated than the Roissy airport hotel district. Check hotel shuttle operating times, especially at the budget options which may have restricted operating frequencies.
